With Migos topping global charts this year, it came as no surprise that a great number of fans jumped into the new Breakout Festival hype to see the headliners take the stage at the festival’s first ever 2018 Presentation. Poised as Vancouver’s first Hip-Hop festival, the lineup presented a controversial selection of artists that got the entire city talking. Whether, it was a case of timing, proximity to another major festival FVDED, or prior logistical issues; Pressa, Kodie Shane & A Few Other Artists pulled out last minute as well. With fans starting to have mixed feelings, the Instagram Page had fans praying for the headliner to show. With a great deal of the festival attendees looking forward to seeing the Culture III stars, you can imagine the anger and out pour that commenced. Should tickets be refunded?
According to Narcity,
Concert goers were raging through the exits demanding anyone who would listen for their money back.
Some of the reactions of disappointed fans on social media:
The festival still saw a great display of artists from Tory Lanes to Lil Pump (who killed his set as the new festival headliner).
