With fans coming to a realization that they had paid heavily for a festival with 4 of its main acts pulling the plug at the last minute, some of these artists’ lack of proximity to the event, poor communication to innocent festival goers, and a deactivation of social media accounts have created some of the best online theories and fan responses to the crumbling brand. Here are a few of these theories below!

 

1.AA SCREEN SHOT OF BREAKOUT FESTIVAL’S POST TRYING TO COMMUNICATE THAT MIGOS “LOVES VANCOUVER” AND “REALLY WANTED TO MAKE IT” TO @BREAKOUTFEST

 

2. ONE FAN IS NOT BUYING, SHE BELIEVES BREAKOUT PR PAID MIGOS TO MAKE THAT TWEET AFTER NEGOTIATIONS FAILED.

 

 

3. SOME THINK FINANCIAL MISMANAGEMENT COULD HAVE RESULTED IN ARTIST RELATIONS AND NEGOTIATION CONFLICTS. WITH MAJORITY OF FANS CLAIMING THEIR ENJOYMENT OF THE SHOWS HEADLINER CAME AS A BLINDING GIVEN THEY WERE NOT TOLD DIRECTLY THAT MIGOS WILL NOT BE PERFORMING.

 

4. WHILE MANY MIGHT HAVE ASSUMED THE LARGE TURNOUT WAS DUE TO BREAKOUT’S REMARKABLE BRAND ESTABLISHMENT, FANS QUESTION IF THE AFTERPARTIES SAW LIFE AFTER THE HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

 The fact that breakout couldn’t even announce that the artists weren’t coming to the people in the crowd was PATHETIC & I 100% bet breakout had way more notice from the artists then 10 minutes before.

5. FANS SAY THIRD PARTY RESELLER AGENCIES ARE ALREADY ISSUING PARTIAL REFUNDS, INDICATING IT WAS IN FACT A POORLY DELIVERED SERVICE ON THE SIDE OF THE BREAKOUT FESTIVAL. NOW IS CRESCENDO1 TO BLAME OR TIMBRE? AS THE ACTION KEEPS UNFOLDING FANS START TO GO DEEPER!

But a $30 refund on a $230 Show? Should fans be settling for this refund?

6. IF QUAVO WAS AT KANYE WEST’S BIRTHDAY PARTY, HOW COULD THEY HAVE MADE IT FOR THEIR SET IN THE FIRST PLACE? AND IF THAT’S THE CASE, DOES THAT MEAN THE ORGANIZERS KNEW FULLY WELL THAT MIGOS WAS NOT PERFORMING? WHY WAS PRESSA ANGRY AND POST EARLIER THAT HE WASN’T PERFORMING? DID HE ALSO KNOW THAT MIGOS WOULD BE PULLING OUT AS WELL?
