Nostalgix and RUDENALA Feature as Cxxlaid’s First Female Artists

The organizing team of the underground movement, CXXLAID, has a mission to increase the representation in the diversity of artists that are curated for their stages; and they’re putting out a call for more female artists.

It’s been noted that the first two shows of CXXLAID have had male artists hitting the stage, from Devontee to King H as the headliners. Show 3 is looking to make big strides in opening up opportunities to young emerging talents trying to make a name for themselves. They’re demanding recognition!

With RUDENALA catapulting her name at Fortune Sound Club after an extremely turnt set, recommendations poured in that she was an emerging artist to keep an eye on. While the streets might be where RUDENALA has made her name, Nostalgix got involved with nightlife both in and out of school. She’s made a name for herself in the electronic scene, but this growing DJ believes her music can cross genres. From holding down parties at Caprice and Republic, to featuring at various UBC Block Parties, her name has started to spread down to Miami where she’s set to headline a number of shows!

As Quentin Miller headlines Show 3 of CXXLAID at the Rickshaw, with a number of quality artist’s on the bill, we have no doubt the crowd will remember the names Nostalgix and RUDENALA.
