With this being the first year of the culture Suyafest is working to curate, production is looking at the feasibility of getting PalmWine to it’s audience. Although the incorporation of PalmWine had been something we had began working on, as part of the overall production budget required to produce this arts and culturally vibrant party, stocking up on inventory based on our proposals just would not fly as part of first year investments.
SUYALIFE KICKS OFF FESTIVAL LAUNCH THIS WEEK IN VANCOUVER. Having Deemaks as an headliner already raises the production value as we're going from doing small shows/year to sell our concept and build community to really getting a backing to reach a wider audience.
Within senior curators loving the idea of a full activation of space and hiring of interior designers to bring the look to life, not having the audience to support this new concept was the only issue. Year one of Suyalife will need to generate revenue to prove that there’s a market for it’s products, there’s a market for Afrobeats, there’s a market for it’s food selection, and there’s a market for Palm Wine within understanding that the Vancouver market is quite different.
